Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz - was born in Winona Minnesota. The name of her parents was derived from the town she grew up in. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's mother and father have both been Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder along with her whole family moved to Mendocino County in California, when Ryder was only seven years old. In Mendocino County, they did not have electricity. Ryder began to be a committed read because they had no television. When she turned 12 years old, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. In 1986 she landed her first role on the big screen in the film Lucas when she was just 15 years old. Ryder suffered bullying in her high school. Ryder believed that if she became an actor, her bullying could be reduced. However, it didn't take place. However, she kept working towards her dreams. Ryder made her breakthrough in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder was a star in numerous films. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her role on The Age of Innocence (1993).
